About the Company
As a growing reseller of electrical parts, Kristian Electric needed a robust ecommerce platform that could support direct online ordering, automatic product updates, and warehouse-based fulfillment. Their previous site lacked dynamic features and wasn’t built to handle the scale or complexity of their evolving operations.
They also wanted the website to reflect their culture — a team-first, community-driven company with deep roots in Canadian industry — by incorporating real photography of their staff and operations.
OBJECTIVES:
- Launch an e-commerce solution to support online orders
- Automatically pull inventory, SEO metadata, and product data from their internal system and fulfill orders based on customer proximity to warehouses
- Preserve and expanded on existing SEO visibility with content review and redirects
- Modernize the design while showcasing real team members and company culture

In parallel, Digital Tea team implemented a tailored SEO retention strategy. The new website preserved keyword rankings and traffic flow by reviewing legacy content, applying hundreds of redirects, and automating SEO metadata imports. Despite the platform transition, Kristian Electric maintained strong visibility in search engines throughout the migration.

Bringing IT All Together
Digital Tea team focused on automation at every stage: product details, SEO terms, and imagery now flow directly from their internal system to the website. Orders placed online are immediately processed and routed to the most efficient warehouse for fulfillment.
Over 11 months, the project combined technical precision with storytelling — enabling the company to scale digital sales without sacrificing the values that made them successful. Future phases will explore expanded product categorization, enhanced analytics, and UX testing based on user behaviour.
